    Capital Area Memory Cafe in Concord

    CONCORD, N.H. –The Capital Area Memory Café for memory-impaired individuals and their family members is Wednesday, January 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Granite Ledges of Concord, 151 Langley Parkway in Concord. The Memory Café  is held on the third Wednesday of each month at the same time. This month is our “Safety and Memory Challenges.”

    Concord Regional VNA Offers Men's Coffee Hour in Concord

    CONCORD, N.H. – Concord Regional VNA is offering Men’s Coffee Hour on Thursday, January 10 and Thursday, January 24 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 79 Clinton Street in Concord. Men’s Coffee Hour is held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the same time.

    Staying Independent

    WEARE, N.H. - Albert, 98, was recently honored with the Boston Post Cane award as the town’s oldest resident during a ceremony held in his longtime Weare home. He was joined by many of his family members including his younger brother, John, 96. His father, Leon, also received the award in 1985 at age 91.
