Concord Regional VNA Promotes Nurse to New Role

CONCORD, N.H. – Concord Regional VNA has promoted Alycia Harpell, RN, CHPN, to become the new Advanced Illness Management Coordinator. She will work closely with our home care and hospice teams to care for patients with advanced stages of a serious illness. 

“Alycia will lead our new Advanced Illness Management program that will enhance patient and family experience when transitioning across care settings,” said Andrea Patrick-Baudet, MBA, RN, CHPN, CHPCA, Vice President of Hospice. “She will coordinate clinical care and services, as well as visit patients and families. Alycia will also serve as a valuable staff resource for symptom management and goals of care.”

Harpell has many years of nursing experience and has been employed at Concord Regional VNA for four years as a hospice community nurse in which she managed nursing care for the terminally ill patients in their homes and in long-term care settings. 

Harpell obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing from Castleton State College, Castleton, Vt.
and a Bachelor Degree in Nursing at Franklin Pierce University. She is a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse.
